Warmth (Trafalgar Law x Reader)

-Some fluff and stuff-

“Where’s ______?” Law questioned his crew members that were casually playing cards.
“Still sleeping I think” Bepo replied, “Do you need me to wake her up?”
“Do you think she sleeps in her underwear?” Penguin said towards Shachi, eyebrows wiggling. Both of their noses started bleeding dramatically with the thought of you sprawled half naked on a bed.
“CAPTAIN, WE CAN DO IT~” Both Shachi and Penguin raised their hands, sparkles twinkling's around their hat-hidden eyes.
“Of course not, you idiots!" Law scolded, disturbed by what his crew members were probably thinking. It took him a pinch of his nose bridge and a long hard sigh to finally reply. “I’ll do it.”

“______-ya” Law’s airy voice entered your ears. “______-ya.” He repeated, a bit more forcefully. “______!” Your warm blanket was cruelly ripped from your fully clothed body. The much needed protection from the biting cold was tossed onto the floor, leaving your body shivering and forced into a fetal position.
“LAWWW, YOU’RE SO MEAN” You whined squirming on your bed, trying to get all the warmth you could feel. You glared harshly at the man standing by your bed side. He brushed it off, returning his well used scowl.
“Don't care. We need to go over plans on our travel rou-” Your hand gripped his wrist, pulling him down onto the bed. You could hear a choking sound coming from his throat while you wrapped your arms around his torso, legs tangling with his. You kept him in a warm, but deadly strong grip. Law's face was only inches away from your own, a faint pink spreading across his cheeks. He could see an innocent smile spread on your lips, making his heart beat faster.
“So warm~” You muttered, snuggling your head against his toned chest. You inhaled the scent of Law’s navy hoodie, enjoying every second of his close proximity. Law’s body instantly tensed. Your body shivered from the stubborn chilled air. This made Law hesitatingly wrap his arms around your shivering form, an attempt to give you more warmth. Your eyelids fluttered open when you heard an audible sigh from his mouth.
“What am I going to do with you” Law breathed, his silver eyes meeting your (E/C) ones.
You giggled softly, smile fading. “Stay” You whispered faintly. That left a panging feeling in Law’s heart. He looked into your soft eyes and saw an old fear resurfacing in your mind.

Instead of him responding with words, his face moved closer, lips lingering above your own. Law’s hot breath tickled your face as his half lidded eyes met your large surprised ones. You pushed off his hat and grabbed the front of his hoodie, and closed the painful distance between your bodies. Lips melting together and hearts pounding faster. His tattooed hand rested on your hip, flipping your body so you rested on your back. The other was supporting his weight above you. You couldn’t believe what was happening right now. Making out with your captain isn’t something that would just pass through your mind at ease. Both of your arms wrapped around his neck, hands tangled in his messy black hair. Before the kiss could escalate, air was very much needed. His lips departed from yours, leaving you missing the foreign sensation. The sound of your hard breathing was mixed in with his, as you both stared intensely into each other’s eyes.

All of a sudden, you started crying. The sudden weeps threw Law off, his face showing total shock. What did he do? Was he that bad? So many strange questions ran through his mind, most he would never think of. Your hands quickly covered your face, muffled sobs and sniffles racking from your body. Law tightly enveloped your shaking body, changing positions so your head rested against his slow rising chest.
“_____-ya…” Law spoke gently in his deep voice, hand rubbing circles on your hyperventilating back. You could almost feel the muscles under his clothes, making you blush into his hoodie.
“Is this even happening?” You breathed, “It all feels like a dream”
The sobbing slowly stopped and a wide grin appeared across Law’s sharp features.
“_____-ya” Law began again, smiling while looking into your red rimmed eyes. You puffed your cheeks in embarrassment and the blush was seen clear on your face. “We need to get to work”

-Extended Ending-
You walked into the conference room making everybody’s head turn towards you. Law was right behind, stopping when you did. Shachi and Penguin had dark blank stares towards the two, blood slowly dripping from their noses. You were dumbfounded, but Law knew exactly what happened.
“Before you spy on anyone, don't leave your evidence” Law advised, throwing a blooded rag onto the table.
